WE'RE GOING TO ICELAND!!!!!!!

I can't freaking believe it. Iceland has always been my #1 place in the world to visit. Of course, everyone and their mother is asking, "Why?" Believe me, I could try to explain, but I'm sure the pictures I post when I return will explain it all more than any words could. Neither Bill nor I have been abroad before (I've never even been to Canada or Mexico) so this will be quite an adventure. We're jumping head first into international travel. We're still sorting out the itinerary, but it will likely include lots of hiking, glaciers, volcanoes, waterfalls, possibly whales and seals and puffins, the Mid-Atlantic Range, and the Blue Lagoon.

The next 3 weeks are full of planning, shopping for a few needed items, plus arranging for the girls and animals to be taken care of while we're gone. I am SO excited that I can barely contain myself. A friend of mine, as well as a coworker of Bill's, have been there recently so we hope to glean as much info as possible about what we're in for. (Hear that, ANP?)
